Newmont Gold Conveyor

The Newmont Gold mine conveyor required servicing to maximise operating life of the conveyor belt, by ensuring proper alignment of pulleys, idlers and rails.

Project details

Vekta were able to collect 90% of survey data required for adequate alignment measurement during normal operations. This meant the impact by surveyors on the site during shut down was minimised, and that much of the survey information was available prior to the maintenance shut down.
